Independent-Administration

Probate. Faster. Less Expensive

Independent administration is possible if the decedent left a valid will that provided for independent administration or after an heirship determination is done by the court all the heirs agree to have independent administration.
In an independent administration the court has a minimal role in administering the decedent’s estate. Normally after the personal representative qualifies and files an inventory there is in no other action in the probate court.
